is a young active and lifestyle wear company based in beautiful Byron Bay- a centre for Yoga, Pilatese, Taiji and many other practices.
We cater to their different needs of ease and movement.

The beauty of classic elegance merged with simplicity and flowing lines, as well as the use of natural fibres are core features in our design. Our clothes are used for active wear, leisure and lifestyle wear for maximum comfort and to look great at the same time.

The meaning of our name

SUNDAIA is a combination of two words: the English word- Sun and the Sanskrit word- Daia.
Sun is the warmth light and wisdom that the sun brings to our life and planet.
Daia means being one with compassion, it is considered as one of the highest moral virtues. Another meaning is truth in action par excellence.

At SUNDAIA we wish to bring our philosophy of being positively active in our lives and provide great service and products to our customers.
All this is reflected in the clothes we make. Natural, high quality, breathable and soft fabrics that make you look and feel great in the clothes you wear no matter where you are: yoga studio, gym, outdoors and at home, as well as contribute to and enhance your practice.

SUNDAIA Founders:

Rom and Danya Orlev have followed their own practices of yoga and taiji for many years. After settling in Byron Bay with a newborn baby they decided to start SUNDAIA together to combine work and personal outlook on life to create great clothes that can be used for many practices as well as leisure and travel- one of their favorite things to do.
